Spiritual Beings

Contrary to The Big Bang or Evolution Theory, I believe from the beginning of time, one supreme being we call God set the scene for our world. This God, when asked His name, said, ‘I Am.”

Whether “I Am’ created the world in six days by speaking it into existence, or he allowed the universe to evolve with his design is not my concern. This essay and newsletter is based on Biblical study, and my experiences with the spiritual world relating to angels.

So, let’s dig in. Be sure to comment if you wish.

Angels

Angels are one of a class of spiritual beings or celestial attendants of God. Angels consist of the lowest in the ranks of nine orders of celestial beings (seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels, and angels). Most of us cannot see, hear, touch, or feel angels, like the air on a calm day, but we know they exist.

There are myriads of diverse angels in the unsee spiritual world. It boggles my mind when I think about all the unseen visages hovering around me at any time of the day r night. Multiplied with the many angels assigned to each person on Earth, there are more than the grains of sand on the beach or the stars in the universe. When did God create these beings? Does he make a new one with each baby born? Do angels die or live forever? Are they assigned roles at different times. What is the purpose of these beings? Who is my guardian angel?

My Guardian Angel Experience

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here. Be ever this day, at my side, to live and to guide. Amen

I know I have at least one guardian angel all the time to love, protect, and guide me. Some people call this our conscience, but I call it my angel. I struggle between good and evil. Should I do this or that? When I am in tune with the church and reading the Bible, I subconsciously debate within myself and often produce a decision of which Jiminy Cricket would be proud.

I saw my Guardian Angel when we lived in Miami and I was sick in the hospital. But that as they say, is another story.

My Guardian Angel Experience

Angel of God, my Guardian dear, To whom God’s love commits me here, Ever this day, be at my side, To light and guard, Rule and guide.

I know I have at least one Guardian Angel all the time to love, protect and guide me. Some people call this our conscience, but I call it my angel. I struggle between good and evil. Should I do this or that? When I am in tune with the church and reading the Bible, I subconsciously debate within myself and often produce a decision of which Jiminy Cricket would be proud.

I have seen and heard different angels bringing messages, protection, and comfort at times of stress. Most of you reading this may be thinking: “Sure. Do you hear fairies too?” All I know is I believe I saw my Guardian Angel.

We attended a writing conference in Orlando, Florida, where I came down with food poisoning and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The pain was miserable; I couldn’t stand and lay in…  well, you know what. The medic gave me a shot, which relieved the symptoms somewhat, but I Iay in the bed in pain, thinking I would die, praying and crying when a tall man appeared at the foot of my bed. The man smiled. His long brown hair fell down his shoulders, and his bright brown eyes showed love, care, and peace. He wore a white gown that seemed to flow as if caught in a warm breeze. He stood beside my bed, placed his hands on my covered legs, and said, “You will be fine. This will pass. Just relax. God is with you. I will stay until you are better.”

I knew the man was my Guardian Angel. He stayed beside me even when other people were in the room, but he only appeared to me. I saw no wings, but he hovered as if floating on air.

This experience was not the first sighting of angels, but the first time I recognized the apparition as a Guardian Angel. I had felt him on many previous occasions, but this was the first time I was given the grace to see him. Whether the apparition was male or female, I could not tell. My studies suggest angels are genderless. They do not procreate. They do the will of God. They protect and bring messages and comfort to God’s human children.

If you have had a similar experience and believe they are angelic, why not send a brief description of the event to my Email? With your permission, I may place that story in this newsletter.
